Sad news as we learn that Sir Sean Connery has died at the age of 90. He died overnight in his sleep while in the Bahamas. Fans of Steven Spielberg movies will best know him for playing Indiana Jones' Dad in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and has stayed as a fan favourite since the movie was released in 1989. Other roles that he became well known for was The Hunt for Red October and of course as James Bond. He won an Oscar in 1988 for his role in The Untouchables, playing an Irish cop. Robert Carlyle tweeted: "RIP Sir Sean Connery.. a trailblazer, a true legend and a gentleman." First Minister of Scotland Nicola Sturgeon also said: "I was heartbroken to learn this morning of the passing of Sir Sean Connery. Our nation today mourns one of her best loved sons.
