The entire production took five months, two-and-a-half of which were spent on the construction of the 105 ft. pirate galle...

This Incredible Fan Film Sees Gremlins Invading The Movies Of Indiana Jones, Batman Goonies And More

This incredible fan film sees those pesky Gremlins invading and scene stealing from the likes of Indiana Jones, Batman, Goonies and more.  The cinema release of Gremlins 2 saw a whacky scene where the Gremlins invade the projector booth and replace the movie with a three minute segment of a volleyball scene.  On the VHS version it was a John Wayne Film but sadly we got nothing for the DVD release.  This video looks to sort that little issue out. Watch it below.  We've also included the making of the video where Here's the description from Youtube: This is the alternate fan sequence I made for the DVD version of the Gremlins 2 "film break" scene. I made it alone, in a two months period, with (computer-enhanced) puppets I re-created for this project. WATCH THE MAKING OF ON YOUTUBE !!! ————————————————— MORE INFO: WHAT IS IT? In the middle of the movie Gremlins 2, there is a sequence where the film seems to break, and where the gremlins invade the pro...

Frank Marshall Sets The Record Straight On Goonies 2

Last year Richard Donner started talking Goonies 2.  In an interview with Collider, Frank Marshall puts the record straight on where exactly the project is in regards to progress.  Answer?  Not that far.  Here's the snippet about Goonies 2 from the article: Last year, Richard Donner started generating some real buzz about  Goonies 2 .  Is there real heat behind that now?   MARSHALL:  It’s in discussion.  He’s talked to us about it, and we’ve talked to him.  It’s all about the story.  We don’t just do sequels to do them.  The story has to be there.      So, there isn’t a new script?   MARSHALL:  Not yet.  But he wants one?   MARSHALL:  Yeah, he’s saying, “Okay, who’s got an idea?”  Obviously, it doesn’t matter how big the fan base is, if there isn’t an idea.   MARSHALL:  Yeah, that’s very important.  You don’t want to disappoint the fans by...

Goonies Remake Rumours (Yet Again!)

Goonies Remake On The Way? We've been hearing about a "Goonies" remake for a while, one that would focus on the kids of the original characters. And during a press junket for "Percy Jackson and the Olympians," director Chris Columbus confirmed that he and Steven Spielberg have been working on ideas. " I'd love to see another Goonies movie out there, " said Columbus. " The kids would have to be the parents, and their kids would be the Goonies. We just need something, as Steven [Spielberg] said the other day, he said, 'How do you beat finding an entire pirate ship filled with treasure underground? What can be as exciting?' So we have to come up with something that can be equally as exciting. What can be the next adventure? " Unfortunately, until there is a story, the "Goonies" remake is nothing more than just wishful thinking. " I'm not working on it, " added Columbus. " Everybody is coming to m...
