New Star Wars Roll Out Sucks (Thanks To Giant Vacuum Cleaner) Another instalment of Star Wars Roll Out has gone live and if you recall, I was in a bit of a tiff last week because last week's episode ended on a cliffhanger.  Well,  Arggghhh!  They've only gone and done it again!  Oh, Lucasfilm you tease. "That's a giant vacuum cleaner and I know what a giant vacuum cleaner looks like because I've seen one up close and I don't intend in going through that hell again!" I have to admit, I am enjoying Star Wars Roll Out.  I know it's aimed at children but I never really grew up anyway.  This week'a episode ( Rey and the Secret Treasure -- Chapter 2 ) we see Rey gathering her found treasures and ending up in what I can only describe as a 1980's platform game.  Imagine a cross between Sonic and Manic Miner and you get the idea.  Oh, and there's a huge vacuum cleaner in it too!  What's not to like? Roll Up!  Roll Up For Another Episode Of Star Wars Roll Out I know these Star Wars Roll Out episodes are for kids and are short two minute stories but COME ON!  WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?  Lucasfilm, how could you do this to me?  This is the best cliff hanger since...Well, probably The Empire Strikes Back (Well maybe that Star Trek TNG episode, Best of Both Worlds) Rey is is rolling around on Jakku (complete with that crashed Star Destroyer) doing what she does best, scavenging and comes across something worth a meal or three.  Well, I won't spoil the story but I NEED to know what happens next.  The story ends with a brief scene in which you want to know what Rey is going to do. BREAKING NEWS!  BLORP ABSORBING EVERYTHING!  FAST THINKING REQUIRED! Slime!  It's very much the "in thing" at the moment.  Walk into any toy store and you will see slime stuff for sale whether it be in a plastic container or masquerading as glittery Unicorn dropping.  You can't miss it and it's hot property.  Well, it's no coincidence that the latest episode of Star Wars: Roll Out features a rather cute slime monster (The Blorp) called "Bert."  Actually I made the name up but in my mind his name is "Bert" and if any Lucasfilm employee is reading this, please make it canon. Anyway, the two minute animated feature stars "Bert" the Blorp as we join him innocently absorbing everyone around him.  Leave it to Maz Kanata (my name is better - Rob) to save the day and use what could be considered some clever science.
