Today he would have  celebrated his 51st birthday, he was meant to be the actor to voice the character of Shrek , but a heroin and cocaine overdose ended his life on December 18 1997. His name: Chris Farley He rose to fame in America as one of the stars of Saturday Night Live , just like the man he idolized: John Belushi. He even made the switch to Hollywood with a couple of successful comedies, such as Tommy Boy , Wayne's World (1 and 2) and Beverly Hills Ninja , just like the man he idolized: John Belushi. And unfortunately enough He wanted to be taken serious as an actor and died as a result of drugs, just like the man he idolized: John Belushi.
