Dee Wallace Launches Kickstarter Campaign For BuppaLaPaloo. A Bear To Help Children Express Their Love & Worth About Themselves

E.T's Dee Wallace has launched a Kickstarter campaign to launch BuppaLaPaloo.  BuppaLaPaloo is an interactive bear that helps your child express their worth, love and awesomeness about themselves.  Improvement of self-esteem at a young age is so important and this bear will help a child by playing phrases that the child has to repeat.  We've had an email from Dee telling us about the campaign.  Here's what she had to say: As most of you know, I have been working on my passion project, BuppaLaPaloo for over a year now. It is a cuddly teddy bear that teaches a child to really express their worth and love and awesomeness about themselves...something that most of us are still trying to experience. With bullying at an all-time high, especially among young children, I am determined to help children understand their self-worth and love themselves. I am extremely passionate about this project and would love your support! I have invested thousands to get this littl...

Dee Wallace talks E.T. with @SFXMAGAZINE

Dee Wallace answers questions very similar to our quick fire questions in this month's SFX magazine.  She talks about her character 'Mary' in the epic film - E.T One of my favourite questions was "Is there anything unfinished about Mary's Story?" Her answer to this is very interesting, and despite being a huge fan of the film, something I didn't know until now. There was a B-story about ET loving her from afar that didn't make it into the finished film.  In the novelisation, he called her "willow creature".  I would love to have had a gently, tender scene where she could have interacted with ET. I really enjoyed reading the short interview, and gaining an insight into Mary's character. I can definitely recommend checking it out if you are a fan of Dee or E.T. We were lucky enough to feature the E.T. star a few months back on our site. C heck out her answers to our questions here. Click here to find out more abou...
