None of the films has been overly strong on plot, their star is not the number one box office draw he used to be, and it's easy to dismiss all of this this as same old same old. But there was an even bigger crowd (of which we were part) that didn't even have the movie on their radar but ended up finding it to be a joyously fun popcorn  flick, and it has a place in movie history if for no other reason than the fact that the phrase "I actually liked  The Mummy  better than the new  Star Wars " was spoken so many times. Oblivion trailer with Tom Cruise.  Part of the trailer actually makes me think this is an adult Wall-E.  Not looking bad though but my fear is that the trailer doesn't actually do a good job of telling you what the movie is all about and John Carter had the same problem and look what happened to that at the box office.
