Visual effects genius and legend in the movie industry, Ray Harryhausen has died at the age of 92. Harryhausen is most famous for his stop-motion work and seeing his work in Jason And The Argonauts and Clash Of The Titans will never be forgotten. Personally myself I was scared to death by the skeletons that came to life and moved with so much natural movement I thought that movies could not get any better. The American animator made his models by hand and painstakingly shot them frame by frame to create some of the best-known animated sequences in cinema. His death in London was confirmed to the BBC by a family representative. The BBC writes: He is perhaps best remembered for animating the seven skeletons who come to life in Jason and the Argonauts, a sequence which took him three months to film, and for the Medusa who turned men to stone in Titans.
