A much anticipated Sherlock convention that was due to take place sometime this year has no been put back until next year.  The event is being organised by Massive Events in association with Hartswood Films and Showmasters Ltd. The organisers took to Facebook and posted the following: "This has been one of the hardest tasks we have ever had to deal with and we now understand how difficult it must be to film the actual tv show as so many of the main cast are incredibly busy and popular! "We just wanted to let you all know that we really do care and we want to deliver the most incredible event we can and that is why things are taking a bit more time that we originally anticipated."  Were you all set to attend this event this year?  Let us know your thoughts. We've seen numerous celebrities take up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.  The original idea was to donate money to the ALS Association OR tip a bucket of ice water over yourself.  It seems the challenge has evolved into just pouring water over yourself and donating. I'm not complaining as it's been entertaining to watch.  But Sir Patrick Stewart has read the rules and just like the Captain he played in Star Trek The Next Generation done things properly by thinking things through first. Sherlock star, Benedict Cumberbatch was spotted with Star Wars VII director, J.J. Abrams both coming out of a London office early this morning.  A source told us the two were eager to part and not be spotted in public.  Our source also told us the studios have previously been used for other auditions for the much anticipated Star Wars movie. Rumours of Cumberbatch being attached to Star Wars VII have been circulating ever since Abrams was announced as director but this photo seems to confirm those rumours. In other news it was announced today that the new release date for Star Wars VII is April 1st 2015 to make way for Jaws 5 which has been give a December 2015 date with Richard Dreyfuss attached.  William Shatner will also be starring. Benedict Cumberbatch has revealed he is "notoriously bad" at time-keeping, very un-Sherlock of him.  He revealed he was late for a meeting with War Horse director Steven Spielberg and also admitted that being punctual is not one of his strongest points in an In Conversation discussion with The Hollywood Reporter. "There are parameters you have to work within as an actor, and sometimes they are difficult to maintain. Time-keeping is one of them and I'm notoriously bad at that," he said. "And learning your lines. I'm alright at that some of the time and sometimes it can get overwhelming. There are good days and bad days."
