Remember the scene in Spielberg's Jurassic Park where the kids are hiding from fierce Velociraptors in the kitchen?  Well imagine the scene with cats instead.  Not so fierce?  Well watch the video below and you may change your mind.  It's just as scary! Got to love the Internet.

Those clever folks (or sadistic) over at  http://jurassicsystems.com/ have recreated Dennis Nedry's console from Steven Spielberg's Jurassic Park.  You know the one.  Where Samuel L. Jackson is trying to hack in to get the park back on line, ultimately failing and being presented with the lines "Ah! Ah! Ah!  You didn't say the magic word." What happens when you mash up the audio of the 2014 Godzilla movie with Jurassic Park and Jaws?  Well those clever people over at The Indietoolbox have the answer.  Check out the videos below.  They go together surprisingly well.

Jurassic Park: I take a look back at the 1993 classic. When I first watched Jurassic Park back in 1993 I knew the film directed by Steven Spielberg would become a classic.  The CGI dinosaurs coupled with the genius of Stan Winston’s animatronic T Rex made Jurassic Park a cinema experience that would never be forgotten. The story is straight forward.  John Hammond who has oodles of money has this idea of a tourist attraction on a island but instead of staff dressed in costumes, Hammond’s plan is to have a park full of dinosaurs.   Using DNA from dinosaur blood which was found in mosquitoes, trapped in amber.  Scientists filled in the gaps with frog DNA and BINGO,  Dino DNA!  T-Rex’s, Velicopraptors and those creepy little ones that spit deadly poison at your face are just a few of the dinosaurs roaming around freely on the island for rich guests to enjoy and look at in awe.  Of course approval and endorsement is needed first and what better ...

Jurassic Park Stop-Motion Magic Earlier this year we reported on a super Jurassic Park fan, Mason Drumm who had created a stop-motion video called "Indomation."    Mason admitted that a lot of the scenes were heavily influenced by the 1993 Spielberg classic.  Well, Mason has contacted us to let us know that he has created another video and this time it recreates the infamous kitchen door scene from Jurassic Park using a $30 Raptor toy. Not only will you see the video but Mason explains how he made this impressive short clip.  It really is worth a watch and shows how much effort, patience and talent goes into these kind of productions. Mason says "I guess I spared expense."  I disagree if you take into account the amount of time taken to create those mini sets, expense was most definitely not spared. If you love Steven Spielberg movies and happened to be a PC gamer back in the 90's then you were more than likely to have been very excited for a Jurassic Park game announced for Windows PC and released in 1998.  It was heavily advertised in gaming magazines and boasted to be a "digital sequel" to the1997 film The Lost World: Jurassic Park , on which it is based. The game would feature voices from Richard Attenborough and Minnie Driver and actually have heavy involvement from Steven Spielberg himself.  However, gamers were soon disappointed when they experienced the game for the first time.  Dogged by a terrible graphics engine and a control system that left a lot to be desired.  PC Gamers soon realised the game was broken and felt unfinished. 'Indomation.'  A Jurassic Park Inspired Stop-Motion Animated Short Jurassic Park fan, Mason Drumm contacted The Bearded Trio and wanted to share with us his new fun animated short that has a lot of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World influence.  Titled 'INDOMATION,' it's a stop-motion animated short that tells the story of our "hero" who just wants to order a pizza and have a relaxing evening watching Jurassic World.  Unfortunately the raptors have better ideas and what follows is a rather intense chase scene through numerous hand built sets boasting impressive attention to detail and animation. Mason tells us the six minute movie took ninety three hours of animation and 7830 frames.  A two month set build and thirty five sticks of glue.  That's some dedication and it shows.  Listen out for the plucky version of John Williams' Jurassic Park at the end.  We've also include a behind the scenes video for you to see the amount of work that go...
