Gold Movie Awards Finds A New Home Next year the Gold Movie Awards will be held at the birthplace of British cinema, the Regent Street Cinema in London’s West End. This exciting awards ceremony is now in its second year and will be held on the 10th January, kicking off the 2019 awards season.
The Gold Movie Awards were created by Italian director Marco Recalchi, Irish actor and producer Jason Matthewson, and Antony Reolon in partnership with The Old Film Farm, ikon Films andSkyup Academy. The GMA’s were created to showcase the best in upcoming and seasoned filmmakers alike, giving them a place to have their work screened and awarded in a professional setting.

'LEGO Star Wars: All-Stars,' a series of NEW animated shorts and FULL-LENGTH episodes, TO debut beginning Monday, Oct. 29, on Disney XD YouTube and DisneyNow  "LEGO® Star Wars: All-Stars," a new animated adventure series that spans all Star Wars eras, will debut beginning MONDAY, OCT. 29, on Disney XD YouTube and DisneyNOW. Comprised of eight shorts and four half-hour episodes, the series features LEGO versions of the fresh faces of the Star Wars galaxy alongside iconic heroes including Kylo Ren, R2-D2, Young Han, Chewie, Young Lando, BB-8 and General Leia.



The first five shorts will roll out daily the week of MONDAY, OCT. 29, – FRIDAY, NOV. 2, culminating in a compilation special highlighting three additional shorts on SATURDAY, NOV. 10 (11:00 a.m., EST/PST) on Disney XD and DisneyNOW. George Lucas On A Star Wars Set Once More The Mandalorian is in full production with Jon Favreau leading the way.  It was probably a nice surprise for Jon when the Star Wars creator himself stopped by to see how things were going and wish him a Happy Birthday.  Yes!  George Lucas turned up in his usual classic plaid shirt and posed with not only the writer and producer, Jon Favreau but also the executive producer, Dave Filoni.

The Mandalorian will debut next year.

New Video and Images have been released for the next episode of Star Wars Resistance on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28 at 10pm ET/PT on Disney Channel! In “The High Tower” - The First Order arrives at the Platform for mysterious reasons; Kaz and BB-8 are determined to find out what they want.

The new episode - "The High Tower" - will also be available SUNDAY, OCTOBER 28th (12:01 a.m. PT) on the DisneyNOW app and Disney Channel VOD, giving kids and families access to the series wherever and whenever they want to watch.

John Williams Cancels This Weekends Appearance At Royal Albert Hall Sad news coming in as we learn that this weekend's UK concert at the Royal Albert Hall will no longer feature the legend that is John Williams.  Due to an illness the composer is unable to make it.  In his place will be Dirk Brossé.  The official Twitter page for The Royal Albert Hall tweeted:

Spooky Content Coming To Star Wars Gamers Halloween-inspired content updates are coming to Star Wars Games.  Fans can celebrate the season spooky haunts with Star Wars Battlefront II and Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes with a hint of spookiness.

• Star Wars Battlefront II: October 26 - 31 – A Halloween-inspired night-mode is coming to select maps, including Mos Eisley, Endor, Kashyyyk and Naboo. Players will also find the cloning facility on Kamino haunted by a furious ocean storm. To top it off, the Death Star II and Jabba’s Palace will re-appear and all of this will occur during a Double XP weekend.
