Here's A brand new clip from Dreamworks Animation's THE BOSS BABY

A brand new clip from THE BOSS BABY titled ‘We Need To Talk’ has been made available by Twentieth Century Fox and DreamWorks Animation. Featuring the voice talents of Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel and Lisa Kudrow and from the director of Madagascar, THE BOSS BABY is due to arrive in cinemas from April 1. DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby. He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby. The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby's arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim. With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks' The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages. Unboxing John Williams & Steven Spielberg: The Ultimate Collection

Here's my unboxing video of the new CD Album boxset, John Williams & Steven Spielberg: The Ultimate Collection (Deluxe Version.) I must say I was slightly disappointed with the packaging which is very minimal.  As you'll see in the video the discs are black with white text and have no artwork on them.  The booklet has a few photos and the original write up from Steven Spielberg on the 1991 disc is included but the booklet tends to just repeat the track listings which are on the disc covers anyway.  This, of course is a slight nitpick. I love the boxset music content and the added bonus of the autorip service provided by Amazon is a nice feature.  Within a few minutes of purchase I had the tracks in my Amazon Music library. Lucasarts Classic Full Throttle Gets HD Make Over. Out April 18th

One of my favourite Lucasarts titles is getting a glorious HD make over.  Tim Schafer's 1995 point and click biker adventure, Full Throttle is set to be released on various formats and will only cost $14.99. If you're familiar with previous Lucasarts HD remakes then you'll know the game will come with all new hand-drawn art, remastered audio and the option to swap between the remastered version and the original 1995 classic.  Actually in this version you can mix and match between the two versions, so you could play with the original graphics but enjoy the remastered audio.  A nice touch. The game comes out April 18th and you can  pre-order it now on  PSN  and  GOG.com . The Bearded Trio - The Site For Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, John Williams and a whole lot more. Are Mathematicians Really About to Recreate Biff Tannen’s Almanac?

Remember in Back to the Future Part II when old Biff Tannen gave the Grays Sports Almanac to his younger counterpart (see video below to refresh your memory)? The book gave Marty McFly’s arch enemy the correct sporting result from every game for twenty years, and enabled the antagonist to get seriously rich in an alternative future. Now expert mathematicians are trying to recreate something similar in real life. Can it actually work or should these boffins make like a tree and get out of here? A lot of sports fans would certainly kill for the knowledge in the Almanac that Biff gets his hands on in Robert Zemeckis’ classic 1989 adventure. Most would probably not wish to recreate the chaotic dystopia that Marty and the Doc return to after Biff’s accumulation of infinite riches, however. Having the knowledge of an outcome would certainly be a prosperous way of betting, but in reality most bettors have to make use of free bets such as 100% deposit bonuses to limit their risk. Thi...

UK Argos Catalogues From 1984/1985 Advertising Star Wars Toys

Argos 1985 F or those who are not familiar with Argos, it is a UK store that is generally situated on the high street and in town/city centres.  Here's the thing, even though they have stores, generally nothing is on display.  Instead you walk in and order your item from a catalogue, find the item you want in the rather large book, write down the item number and take your ticket to the till.  Within a few minutes your item will appear on a conveyor belt from the depths of the store room.  I always imagined the store room to be like the end scene from Raiders Of The Lost Ark with one man in a vast room filled with wooden boxes. Anyway I thought you would like to see the Star Wars pages from the 1984 and 1985 catalogues.  Many kids right across the land would use the Argos catalogue to choose their favourite toys and hopefully what would be under the christmas tree.  I'm no exception.  At-At for £29.99?  Yes please. TITANIC TAKES TOP SPOT AS NATION’S FAVOURITE SOUNDTRACK. JOHN WILLIAMS HAS 3 ENTRIES IN TOP TEN

Few Hollywood films can match the heartbreaking climax of Titanic, where Kate Winslet tells Leonardo DiCaprio that she’ll “never let go” – and James Horner’s unforgettable music kicks in, well according to the British public. That classic, Oscar-winning score has today been named Britain’s favourite movie soundtrack of all time. A poll, commissioned by the Royal Albert Hall as part of its celebration of Great Escape composer Elmer Bernstein, being staged in June, asked 2,000 respondents to choose their favourite film score. Titanic topped the charts beating out the likes of Chariots of Fire, Star Wars, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and The Lord of the Rings, to scoop the top spot. The film got the full Royal Albert Hall treatment last night, with two sell-out, 20th anniversary-screenings in high-definition, featuring James Horner’s classic score played live and in full by the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. It received a record-equalling 11 Oscars in 19...

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial 35 Random Facts To Celebrate 35 Years

Here's 35 random facts on the 1982 classic, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial which was directed by Steven Spielberg.  It's hard to think that the movie starring Henry Thomas will be celebrating it's 35th anniversary this year.  Now that makes me feel old. 1 - The original idea for the. E.T. movie was Night Skies, a semi-sequel to Close Encounters of the Third Kind and had a whole darker story.  The aliens were set to terrorise  the people of Earth.  The evil aliens would communicate with various animals including chickens and cows to see who was sentient. 2 - $700,000 was spent on the animatronics effects for Night Skies by horror effects wizard, Rick Baker. 3 - The movie was changed to the more tranquil story we know today after Spielberg decided he wanted a change of pace after filming Raiders of the Lost ark which had explosions and evil Nazis. 4 - The working title for E.T. The Extra Terrestrial was "A Boys Life."  The working title is the na...

Movie Review: "Kong: Skull Island" Is a Fun B Movie with Unevolved Characters

KONG: SKULL ISLAND Starring Tom Hiddelston, Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Toby Kebbell, Terry Notary and  John C. Reilly Story by John Gatins Screenplay by Dan Gilroy and Max Borenstein and Derek Connolly  Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts Reviewed by Paul & Patrick Gibbs   Out of Four Marion C. Cooper's classic adventure  King Kong changed the face of cinema, providing thrills like nothing audiences had ever seen before. Peter Jackson's 2005 remake, while perhaps a bit too long, was still a triumphant homage that actually improved on the original in terms of character development and emotional heft (if you weren't moved by the ice skating scene or by the great ape's tragic fall from the Empire State Building, it may be time to see the Wizard about getting a heart.).  But in between those two versions, there have been many other films featuring the 8th Wonder of the World. Forget the 1976 Dino DeLaurentis travesty: we're talkin...
