JA Bayona Confirms Jurassic World Trilogy

Love it or hate it, the fourth installment in the Jurassic World franchise made a pile of cash bigger than a steaming pile of dino-dung.  So it's no surprise that more movies in the franchise are guaranteed.  It earned over $1.6 billion worldwide and is the fourth highest-grossing movie of all time (not accounting for inflation). Yesterday Spanish director JA Bayona who is taking over the director's chair from Colin Trevorrow for the sequel said in a recent interview that the plan is to create a new trilogy “truthful to the legacy” of Steven Spielberg’s original Jurassic Park films while modernising them for a new audience. “The whole Jurassic World is a trilogy that Colin Trevorrow as envisioned. We’re writing the second chapter and it’s very interesting where he’s leading the story,” he told LRM. “I grew up watching Steven Spielberg movies and I love those movies and the legacy, so it’s a question of being truthful to the legacy and at the same time, bringing new st...

Eastwood and Hanks Soar in the Captivating And Heartfelt "Sully"

SULLY Starring Tom Hanks, Aaron Eckhardt, Laura Linney, Mike O'Malley, Jamey Sheridan and Elizabeth Davis Screenplay by Todd Komamicki Directed by Clint Eastwood The trouble with being a prolific director is that no matter how accomplished you are, no matter how many classic you've delivered, in the eyes of both critics and audiences you are often only as good as your last picture. Clint Eastwood has been around for so long, and given us so many films, that his only peer in terms of the number of classics vs. the number of forgettable failures  he's given us is probably Woody Allen. Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, Mystic River, Pale Rider, Bird, The Outlaw Joe Wales and others have come close to perfection, while others ranging from The Eiger Sanction to J. Edgar have left us scratching our heads. And often opinion is divided; we loved Invictus , even if it failed to find an audience, but  as much as we tried, we just didn't love American Sniper,  a movie whi...

Photos And Video Of E.T. Cereal. Retro 80's Movie Tie-In Food.

Tasting of  "peanut butter and chocolate-flavored crispy, sweetened 2-grain cereal". The cereal pieces came in the shapes of the capital letters "E" and "T" to spell everyone's favourite alien. It was said the reason for the flavour was to emulate Reese's Pieces sweets which of course was used in the 1982 Steven Spielberg directed movie.  Here's some more photos along with a retro TV commercial. 15 Behind The Scenes Photos From The Dark Crystal

Directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz, produced by Gary Kurtz along with matte paintings by Industrial Light and Magic to name a few, The Dark Crystal is worthy of being mentioned on The Bearded Trio.  Not only that the movie is a cult 80's classic and to be honest we need no excuse to show behind the scenes photos from a movie especially when Jim Henson is shown producing his magic.
