Christmas Gift Idea - Vintage Star Wars Carry Case Wood Art Plaques

Star Wars Carry Case Wood Art Plaques Are A Thing Of Beauty.

If you know me you will know that I am a huge fan of all things retro when it comes to Star Wars.  My collecting focus is mainly Kenner products from the 70's and 80's and of course I have a couple of the fantastic-looking vinyl collector cases that holds 24 of my precious figures.  What was a particular standout of these cases and it still brings a smile to my face were the memorable artwork on the front and thanks to Regal Robot you can now have these designs on your wall.  There are four designs to choose from:

Star Wars: A New Hope™
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ Version A (Yoda top-right)
Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ Version B (Wampa top-right)
Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™

The wood art plaques use the iconic artwork from the Lucasfilm image archives and measure 17.5″ wide.  Regal Robot ships these beauties (US only) ready to hang!  The plaques are completely official and will compliment any collector's room.  As a bonus they are currently on offer at $29.99 (Normally $39.99) and as always, action figures are sold separately.

Here's the link and please share your photos if you buy any.  We'll feature them on our social media pages.

I remember watching this scene back in the early eighties and my ten year old mind thought he definitely had a snack while filming.  I recall talking about 'flygate' in my school playground at the time and the general consensus with my friends was that Freeman definitely had a sneaky snack. Paul Freeman talks about the famous 'fly' scene in an interview with  and settled 'flygate:' This is a bit of a dicey question so don’t get too upset. Pinewood Studios To Expand To The Usa

BBC News have reported that Pinewood Studios are to expand to the USA.  This is great news for the famous studio that is rich in movie history. UK film studio Pinewood Shepperton has announced plans to build its first sound stages in the United States. The Pinewood Atlanta complex will be built on 288 acres of land south of Atlanta, Georgia, as a joint venture with a US investment company. Georgia has been among the US states drawing film-making away from Hollywood with tax incentives in recent years. The deal is the latest sign of expansion at Pinewood, the home of the James Bond franchise. Earlier this month it announced a joint venture with a Chinese media group, potentially giving it access to the fast-growing Chinese market. Read the full article here.
