Quick Fire Questions - This Week Mike Rondeau of The Cantina Cast

Its that time again for another round of quick fire questions.  This week we have Mike Rondeau of the most excellent Cantina Cast podcast.  If you haven't listened to The Cantina Cast yet then make sure you put it on your subscribe list.  Mike is joined weekly by co-host Joao Stinson and they discuss all the latest news and rumours on Star Wars VII as well as general chat on the wars.

Lets kick off.

You're stuck in a swamp on Dagobah. What one movie, TV show, album and book would you take? Movie: Clerks, I have to assume I’m already living in the Star Wars universe if I’m stuck on Dagobah(Which
is awesome), so bringing ESB would not be required. TV Show: Northern Exposure.Album: Social Distortion live at the Roxy. Book:The Big Bang Theory and Philosophy.

If you could invite any three people (alive or not, fictitious or not) to a dinner party, who would they be? 
Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa Skywalker Solo and Anakin Skywalker. I think we could work out the family issues.

What is your favourite John Williams soundtrack?
John Williams 40 years of film Music. It covers all the classics we love.

If you were invisible for a day what would be the first thing you would do?
I would hang out in Kathleen Kennedy's office. Hopefully her and J.J have a meeting that day.

When was the last time you cried?
Long ago....I can’t recall.

What is your biggest fear?
Failing my daughter and Clowns...I hate clowns.

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?
Haven’t had this prestigious honor yet.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Celebrity gossip. I watch TMZ a lot. (puts head down in shame)

What are you looking forward to the most in the next six months?
My birthday of course. (October 19)

What is your most treasured possession?
My precious would be my ROTJ Luke Skywalker version II replica lightsaber. I will pass this down to a worthy padawan (My daughter)

What is your biggest regret?
Not joining the US Marines like my father before me.

What are you most proud of?
Getting the Cantina Cast back up and running.

What is your favourite Spielberg movie?
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade

Explaining That "Weird" Cut In Poltergeist. Read The Missing Scene

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie.  It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen.  First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.  Steve leans up against the kitchen wall and is completely shocked at what just happened.  It's at this point Diane starts to explain the sensation of being pulled and then...A very abrupt cut.  One moment we are listening to Diane and suddenly it cuts to Diane and Steve at their next door neighbours door.  Why the sudden cut?  It's on the VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray and even the streaming versions.  Why does this awful and weird cut exist in the movie, Poltergeist?  Watch the clip below to see the cut: Well, the ans
