This weeks quick fire questions are kindly being answered by Consetta Parker.
Following my passion: When I was a little
girl I discovered Star Wars. It sparked my imagination and brought me an
immense amount of happiness. For years I wished I’d someday meet Han Solo and
find a boy that loved Star Wars as much as me. Over the years many people have
tried to convince me that I needed to “grow up” and let go of my childhood
fascinations. I have done my best to never let any one person or situation
steal the joy away from me that I found when I was a child. I followed my passion and because of that my
life has been a galactic adventure and I’m thankful for that every day. *and my wishes came true. I’ve met Harrison
Ford twice and I married a boy that I met at Skywalker Ranch…he was dressed as
a stormtrooper.
Thanks to Consetta for taking the time to answer our questions. I would love to hear more about that Jerry Bruckheimer incident. Next week we have Ed Dolista from IndyCast, be sure to check it out and also check out our previous quick fire posts with Jimmy Mac, Chris Macht and Jim Beller.

Consetta appears on the excellent Full Of Sith podcast along with Tha Mike Pilot and Bryan Young. As if that wasn't enough, she is also a media consultant for none other than Rancho Obi-Wan. Talk about keeping busy!
With all that going on it was nice of Consetta to spare a few minutes to answer our questions. So lets fire away.
1
You're stuck in a swamp on Dagobah. What
one movie, TV show, album and book would you take?
My initial thought is I’d take The Empire
Strikes Back (for landscape references and it’s my favorite Star Wars film), my
Buffy DVD’s, The Monkees “listen to the Band” CD boxed set and my Jedi Journal I’ve been keeping since
the fourth grade.
2 If
you could invite any three people (alive or not, fictitious or not) to a dinner
party, who would they be?
Han Solo, Tony Stark and Chief Brody. (if
it could be non-human and were more of a picnic in the park: Pegasus, Shadowfax and a TaunTaun)
It’s a tie between The Empire Strikes Back
and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
4 If
you were invisible for a day what would be the first thing you would do?
There’s a good chance I’d immediately go
outside in our backyard, sit down in the middle of our “Squirrel Village” we
set up, surround myself with 10 lbs. of shelled peanuts, and patiently wait.
5
When was the last time you cried?
Last night when my husband and I were
reminiscing about the day we met at Skywalker Ranch. (happy tears!)
I’m very fortunate that I have an extremely
good memory. I can recall things from when I was a toddler. The thought of
losing my memory and not knowing my loved ones and all we’ve shared is quite
disturbing to me. (as far as phobias go I’m terrified of spiders and clowns. So
a spider dressed as a clown would push me over the edge)

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?
I was working an event for Disney and had
no chance to eat or rest the entire day. After 10 hours of going non-stop I
ended up fainting right in front of Jerry Bruckheimer. (an assistant from Disney caught me before my
head hit the floor. I was carried off to the side and propped up against the
wall where they force fed me chocolate and Diet Coke till my blood sugar came
back up. I’m still proud though that the event was a huge success and Jerry was
very happy!)

Excluding search engines, what three website would you choose if no other
websites were available?
9 Do
you have any guilty pleasures?
The only one I’m willing to share is the
fact that if I could only eat out at one place the rest of my life it would be
McDonald’s ;)
10
What are you looking forward to the most in the next six months?
Everything
11
What is your most treasured possession?
He’s not a possession but I treasure my
dearest Garet more than anything. (he’s the stormtrooper I married )
12
What is your biggest regret?
Life is too short to have regrets. I prefer
to look up and forward rather that down and back.
13
what are you most proud of?
I got a bad feeling about this. |
14
What is your favourite Spielberg movie?
Depending on the day it’s either Jaws
(Because I had a massive crush on Roy Scheider), Close Encounters of the Third
Kind (since I grew up in Indiana and saw when I was little. I was convinced the
Indiana scenes were filmed in the field behind our house), E.T. The
Extra-Terrestrial (because I still keep Reeses Pieces on hand just in case) or
Raiders of the Lost Ark (because Harrison Ford has always been my hero). (today
it’s Raiders)

Where can people keep in touch or follow you?
