Bob Iger Discusses The Star Wars Spin Off Movies

CEO Bob Iger has confirmed the news and you can watch a video of him discussing the news below. Thanks to DigitalSpy for that one. However I find this statement interesting.

"We are in fact working on a few stand-alone films," Iger told CNBC. "Larry Kasdan and Simon Kinberg are both working on films derived from great Star Wars characters that are not part of the overall saga.

"So we plan to make Star Wars 7, 8 and 9 over roughly a six-year period of time starting in 2015. But there are going to be a few other films released in that period of time too."

Now to me that confirms that the spinoff movies are not going to centre around any established character such as Yoda but completely new characters. Why do I get the feeling that one of these movies is going to tie in with the new STAR WARS 1313 game that was previewed last year?

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie.
