Star Wars Droid Makes Appearance In J.J. Abram's Star Trek

Eagle-eyed owners of the just-released DVD noticed that the Star Wars character makes a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance during a battle scene, where he can be spotted through a hole in the bomb-damaged Starship Enterprise. I can hear the droid screeching from here.

It turns out that R2-D2’s guest spot is something of a recurring theme of films featuring the handiwork of Industrial Light & Magic, the special effects company owned by Star Wars creator George Lucas, with the robot also having recently cropped up in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie.
