ComingSoon.net caught up with Peter Jackson just after the press conference and got a quick update on where he and Steven Spielberg want to take Tintin after the first film,The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn, hits theaters late next year. "I've got several favorite stories," says Jackson, "I like 'Seven Crystal Balls' and 'Prisoners of the Sun.' I like 'The Black Island.' I like 'The Calculus Affair.' I haven't made a final decision yet." Jackson confirmed that work on the follow-up won't start until he's completely done with writing duties on The Hobbit. He did, however, say that he has a neat idea of where he'd like to take Tintin after the first sequel: all the way to the moon. I've just finished chapter one of Tales of Monkey Island by TellTale Games. If you are worried that this new addition won't meet your high expectations of Monkey Island gone-by, then fear not. This is every bit worthy of sitting along side the previous offerings. The first chapter will take you between three to five hours to finish. The voice acting is superb, the wonderful monkey island music returns and the comedy is there in all its glory. Please do everyone a favour and buy this. I want more!

Steven Spielberg’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn will arrive in U.S. theaters just before Christmas of 2011. Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures have scheduled the family feature for a December 23, 2011, domestic release through Paramount. Looks like alien invasion is going to be the big thing on TV next season. ABC has already ordered up a new version of the 1980s series V , and now TNT has commissioned an alien invasion pilot from Steven Spielberg. (2020 update - Falling Skies anyone?) Produced by Angels & Demons star Tom Hanks and legendary Hollywood director Steven Spielberg, The Pacific follows the exploits of a group of World War II soldiers. As the show is from the same team that brought the multiple Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Band of Brothers to the screen, the series is likely to be highly-anticipated and the network will be showing it on Sky Movies with an option to watch it in high definition. DreamWorks h as received permission to produce a biopic on the life of the late African-American civil rights leader Dr Martin Luther King Jr, to be produced by American director Steven Spielberg, according to Variety. African-American entertainment executive Suzanne de Passe and American novelist Madison Jones will co-produce the film with Spielberg. I Received my Indiana Jones: The Soundtrack Collection box set on Saturday and is it worth it? Well short answer is "Yes!" Long answer is "Definitely Yes!" Soundtrack collectors have been crying out for years for a complete soundtrack release of the Indiana Jones films and this is as close as they are going to get for some time. It comes in a nice looking box Each CD comes with a booklet with photos from each film, track listings and behind the scenes. Also included is a separate booklet that has some extremely nice photos from all the movies and an introduction from Laurent Bouzereau (Soundtrack Reissue Producer.) He also hosts the interviews with John Williams, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg on the fifth extras disc. Well I just finished reading Rogue Leaders: The Story of Lucasarts. The book looks amazing with a holographic moving front cover that changes between all the great Lucasarts characters such as Guybrush Threepwood, Vader, Evil Tentacle, Lego Indiana Jones. It oozes quality from the outside and I couldn't wait to start reading about the greats such as Monkey Island and Day of the Tentacle. Although a thorough book I couldn't help think that it was being thorough in all the wrong places. Not enough was mentioned about the greats. Monkey Island two gets no more than three pages dedicated to its 256 colourful pages. Never the less its worth the buy and will keep you entertained throughout. From the point and click days to Star Wars licenced overload. From the book you will learn how Lucasarts admitted they were churning out too much mediocre games and have aimed to go back to basics. It will also make you realise how Lucasarts is now not a patch on its greatness of the 80s ...
