'Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View' Final Cover and Authors Revealed

The final cover and roster of authors for the upcoming 40th anniversary collection of short stories, Star Wars: From a Certain Point of View, were revealed today by Star Wars publisher Del Rey. Most of the authors are well-known to fans of the Star Wars canon, while a few might be a surprise.

Here's the announcement from the Star Wars Books Facebook page:

To celebrate Friday, here is the FINAL cover for our upcoming 40th anniversary novel, STAR WARS: FROM A CERTAIN POINT OF VIEW. (otherwise known as #OperationBlueMilk)

The final cover contains all 43 contributors to the 40 stories contained inside. It includes a few new authors only recently announced:

Kieron Gillen (Dr. Aphra, Darth Vader)
Greg Rucka (Shattered Empire, Guardians of the Whills)
Elizabeth Wein (the upcoming COBALT SQUADRON)
Jeffrey Brown (Vader and Son, Jedi Academy)

The book is on-sale Oct 3rd and is available for pre-order wherever you enjoy buying books.

The Famous Indiana Jones Fly In Belloq's Mouth Scene. Did It Really Happen? I've always wondered if Paul Freeman unintentionally consumed a fly in this scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark ? Explaining That "Weird" Cut In Poltergeist. Read The Missing Scene

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie. It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen. First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne. Steve leans up against the kitchen wall and is completely shocked at what just happened. It's at this point Diane starts to explain the sensation of being pulled and then...A very abrupt cut.
