Spoilers for the Doctor Who episode "Sleep No More."
The latest episode of Doctor Who, "Sleep No More," was a rarity for series 9 -- a self-contained story. Not only that, it was modeled on the "found footage" trend made popular in recent years, with hand-held cameras making it appear as if every scene was shot by the characters themselves, leading to a twist in the plot. And, yes, there was no opening title sequence! I had to go back and replay the first few minutes, thinking somehow I'd missed it. Some new ground for Doctor Who, to be sure. Written by Mark Gatiss, the episode posits what would happen if workers could get a month's worth of sleep in just five minutes for the ultimate purpose of making them more productive. In short -- Nothing good! Enter Sandmen....
