BRIDGE OF SPIES World Premiere

BRIDGE OF SPIES, the latest collaboration from Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, received a standing ovation last night at the film's World Premiere at the New York Film Festival, and Twentieth Century Fox is delighted to share a selection of images from the event.
 
Filmmakers and cast in attendance at the premiere included Steven Spielberg (with Kate Capshaw), Tom Hanks, Amy Ryan, Mark Rylance (with Claire Van Kampen), Sebastian Koch, Eve Hewson, Alan Alda, Austin Stowell (with Nina Dobrev) and Screenwriter Matt Charman. Guests included Ed Burns and Christy Turlington, Jessica Capshaw and Sasha Spielberg.
 
BRIDGE OF SPIES releases in the UK on November 27th 2015.

Directed by Steven Spielberg, BRIDGE OF SPIES is a dramatic thriller which tells the story of James Donovan (played by Tom Hanks), a Brooklyn insurance claims lawyer who finds himself thrust into the centre of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot.

Pinewood Studios To Expand To The Usa

BBC News have reported that Pinewood Studios are to expand to the USA.  This is great news for the famous studio that is rich in movie history. UK film studio Pinewood Shepperton has announced plans to build its first sound stages in the United States. The Pinewood Atlanta complex will be built on 288 acres of land south of Atlanta, Georgia, as a joint venture with a US investment company. Georgia has been among the US states drawing film-making away from Hollywood with tax incentives in recent years. The deal is the latest sign of expansion at Pinewood, the home of the James Bond franchise. Earlier this month it announced a joint venture with a Chinese media group, potentially giving it access to the fast-growing Chinese market. Read the full article here.
