Bonnie Curtis, on being Spielberg's right hand for over 15 years

Steven likes having strong women surrounding him. Ever since the production of 1941, he let Kathleen Kennedy be his guide on many occasions, but she has not been the only woman in his life.

Bonnie Curtis is an American film producer. In 1990, she was hired as Steven Spielberg’s assistant, embarking on a 15-year professional relationship with the acclaimed director. She was his assistant on Hook and Jurassic Park, became a production associate on Schindler’s List and served as associate producer on “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” and “Amistad", before she became a producer on Minority Report, Artificial Intelligence and Saving Private Ryan.

The last film she executive produced for/with Steven was the DreamWorks thriller Red Eye.

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie. It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen. First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.
