Ghostbusters To Get Cinema Re-Release And Blu-Ray Special Edition For Both Movies

This weekend sees the 30th anniversary of the classic ghost busting and twinky talking Ghostbusters. To celebrate 30 years us fans will be treated this year to a cinema re-release and a blu-ray special edition release for both Ghostbuster movies.

a restored and remastered Ghostbusters will return to more than 700 movie theaters on Aug. 29. The theatrical re-release is the centerpiece of a Ghostbusters‘ anniversary celebration that will also include special events, collectible merchandise, and a new home-entertainment release. The Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray, as well as the Ghostbusters II 25th Anniversary Edition Blu-ray will be available on Sept. 16. It’s the first time the 1989 sequel has been released on Blu-ray, and special features include new conversations with director Ivan Reitman and Aykroyd, as well as deleted scenes from the sequel.

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie. It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen. First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.
