1992 Japanese Advert Shows A Video Camera Morphing Into George Lucas

Want to see a Panasonic video camera morph into George Lucas? Don't say we don't treat you here at The Bearded Trio. Check out this rather strange Japanese advert from 1992, promoting Panasonic's sponsorship of the 1992 Olympic games at Barcelona and in particular their Video Camera and editing equipment range.

Unfortunately most of George Lucas has been dubbed over with a Japanese translation but what we do get is a rather neat effect where a Javelin morphs into a bird and the finale, a Panasonic video camera morphing into the Star Wars director.

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie. It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen. First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.
