Cundey has twice been nominated for the ASC Award, for "Apollo 13" and Spielberg's "Hook," missing out on an Oscar nod on both occasions -- somewhat surprisingly, in case of the former film. His lone Oscar nod to date came for the technical tour de force of Zemeckis' "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"
