Just To Clear Up Those Indy 3D Rumours - They Are False

A few days ago we reported that the story going around that Indiana Jones is to be converted to 3D are false.  We just thought we would post it again because it seems the big news companies are now reporting out of date information.  A sudio source told movieline

“This is completely false. Right now, we are totally focused on bringing Star Wars to 3-D, and we have no plans to do an Indiana Jones conversion.”

To be honest I hope we get proved wrong and Indy comes back to the big screen.  I'll be there.  Watching Raiders on the big screen again would be an amazing opportunity.

Star Wars Halloween Costumes - Jabba And Leia In Gold Bikini. No Prizes Which One Is The Trick And Which One Is The Treat

Yes I know its another excuse to post another picture of a model posing as Jabba Leia but come on!  Do you blame us.  I mean look at the quality on those errr...shoes!  Seriously though if you are a couple and off to a Halloween party and are stuck for ideas this Halloween then this has to be the answer!  Only problem I can see is if your girlfriend/wife/escort looked like the model above then I'm afraid she would get all the attention and you will be sulking in the corner playing with your tail and no one to talk to except that annoying brat dressed up as salacious crumb.

Anyway the Leia costume is $54.99 and the Jabba outfit is $68.99 from http://www.buystarwarscostumes.com/adult-jabba-the-hutt-costume.html

To play on the safe side why not go as Boba Fett? ($74.99).  You can just blast anyone who even thinks about going anywhere near your better half!  (Disclaimer - I will not be held responsible, this is not actual advise.)

Spielberg in for Halo movie rights?

It seems the story that Steven Spielberg is to be involved in some way in the Halo movie just won't go away.  MCV website has this to say.

It is being rumoured that acclaimed Hollywood director Steven Spielberg could be preparing a swoop for the Halo movie rights, potentially resurrecting what has been a long and turbulent history for the silver screen adaptation of the franchise.
Vulture reports that DreamWorks hopes to base its film on the novelisations of the series rather than the games. To base a project on what could be seen as ‘low-brow’ material seems a little strange on the surface, but in doing so the studio could dodge the complicated legal situation surrounding Universal Pictures’ and 20th Century Fox’s involvement.
The renewed appetite for a Halo movie is perhaps not surprising considering the recent success of Xbox 360 shooter Halo: Reach. The game sold 300k in the UK in its first 24 hours alone, totting up global sales of $200m in the process.
However, the st…
