This week we have Matt Booker who contributes to the number one Star Wars daily news site, Jedi News.  Matt also owns Automattic Comics, an Independant Comics/ Toys retailer based in Corsham, Wiltshire.  They have the biggest selection of Star Wars toys in the south west of the UK.  On top of all this Matt is part of the team that runs Corsham Scifi day.



Lets get straight into it and fire those questions at Matt.  Here we go


You're stuck in a swamp on Dagobah.  What one movie, TV show, album and book would you take?
Empire Strikes Back, Clone Wars, Orbital - Snivilisation, Akira - Katsuhiro Otomo

If you could invite any three people (alive or not, fictitious or not) to a dinner party, who would they be?
George Lucas, Katsuhiro Otomo, and Jeremy Bulloch.

What is your favourite John Williams soundtrack?
Empire Strikes Back

If you were invisible for a day what would be the first thing you would do?
Haunt George Lucas and tell him he should never have sold up to Disney.

When was the last time you cried?
Last episode of The Clone Wars when Ashoka left

What is your biggest fear?
Spiders and Wampas

What was the most embarrassing moment of your life?
Recently when driving my dalek at Cardiff comic Expo and it broke - tyre blew out with a loud bang

SW Autograph book - 120+ in person OT Autos and a lotta memories

What is your biggest regret?
I have no regrets just lessons learned.

Explaining That "Weird" Cut In Poltergeist. Read The Missing Scene

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie.  It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen.  First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.  Steve leans up against the kitchen wall and is completely shocked at what just happened.  It's at this point Diane starts to explain the sensation of being pulled and then...A very abrupt cut.  One moment we are listening to Diane and suddenly it cuts to Diane and Steve at their next door neighbours door.  Why the sudden cut?  It's on the VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray and even the streaming versions.  Why does this awful and weird cut exist in the movie, Poltergeist?  Watch the clip below to see the cut: Well, the ans
