It's a common known fact that George Lucas loves motorsport, in particular Formula One. Since his retirement we've seen several times the cameras from the F1 world feed switch to Lucas in one of the team's garage avidly watching the events unfolding around him.
Since last year Formula One has had a guest star interviewing the top three drivers on the podium after the race, often in the midst of roaring fans. Well it was the turn of George Lucas at the Italian Grand Prix. Italy as you may know is the home of Ferrari and the passionate "Tifosi" crowd. If a Ferrari driver is on the podium, don't expect to hear yourself speak even with a microphone. Well that is exactly what happened. Sebastian Vettel drives for Ferrari and finished second to Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton. Incidentally, Mercedes was the team that invited Lucas for the weekend. It seems he brought mixed luck as Hamilton won the race but team mate Rosberg did not finish with a lap to go. His engine blew.
Watch Lucas ask the drivers questions on the race and struggle with the noise.
