Read The Script To E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Sequel - Nocturnal Fears

The E.T. Sequel Story Treatment E.T. II Nocturnal Fears was written by Steven Spielberg and E.T. writer Melissa Mathison.  The sequel that never was, was going to, more or less pick up straight away from the end of the first movie and with one distinct feature.  The aliens are evil.  From the story treatment we learn: "The aliens on-board are EVIL. They have landed on Earth in response to distress signals designating its present coordinates. These aliens are searching for a stranded extraterrestrial named Zrek (E.T.), who is sending a call for 'Help.' The evil creatures are carnivorous. Their leader, Korel, commands his crew to disperse into the forest to acquire food. As the squat aliens leave the gangplank, each one emits a hypnotic hum which has a paralyzing effect on the surrounding wildlife. These creatures are an albino fraction (mutation) of the same civilization E.T. belongs to. The two separate groups have been at war for decades!" Now you can read the s...

20 Easter Eggs In The Xfinity E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Ad

20 E.T. References You May Have Missed In The Xfinity Advert The TV advert of the year is easily the four minute E.T. The Extra Terrestrial "sequel" from Xfinity.  In it we see E.T. returning to Earth to visit his now grown up friend, Elliott played by Henry Thomas.  It really is a wonderful nostalgic trip down memory lane. Fans of the 1982 classic from Steven Spielberg probably picked up a number of Easter eggs in the commercial but some are so fast and subtle that they are easy to miss.  Thanks to Scotty Robson who sent a number of observations, we just had to share with you.  Let us know if we've missed any. 10 Years Of The Bearded Trio: Robert MacNaughton Answers Our Quick Fire Questions

10 Years Of The Bearded Trio - Robert MacNaughton Answers Our Quick Fire Questions The Bearded Trio is 10 years old this year so we've become a little nostalgic and decided to post some of our favourite posts from over the years.  To kick us off we have our short interview with E.T. The Extra Terrestrial's, Robert MacNaughton (Elliott's older brother, Michael.)  He kindly answered our "quick fire questions."  This was a feature we ran regularly with questions that kind of replicated the quick fire round that James Lipton would ask his guests on "Inside The Actor's Studio." I met Robert at London Film & Comic Con in 2013 and he kindly agreed to answer my questions.  I said to not think about them too much and tell me the first thing that comes to mind, hence the short answers.  Here we go: You're stuck in a swamp on Dagobah. What one movie, TV show, album and book would you take? MY movie would be The Fighter and TV show - Survivor (S...

This E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Key-Chain Has Some Questionable Artwork

E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Key-Chain With Funny Artwork I've been having a rummage through my various boxes of collectables and I've come across this E.T. key-chain featuring various pictures, (some rather dubious) of E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.  Now, I have no idea if this is an official product or not, I couldn't see any markings on the cards but I just had to share with you as some of the pictures are quite funny and made me chuckle. If you know any thing about this key-chain, please let me know and I'll update this post.  Also if you have a weird collectable and would like to share with the world, then feel free to let me know and I'll get it on here. Rob Wainfur @thebeardedtrio 1 - E.T's face when he opens the morning paper and realises its all about Brexit again. 2 - Something is a little "psycho" about that face 3 - E.T. kneeling down.  Really? 4 - Again with those legs.  5 - "Heeey" 6 - Be cool ...
