Cameron at 3D summit

Director James Cameron still sang the praises of 3D at Thursday’s 3D Entertainment Summit.
Cameron laughed off any criticism the format is getting at the Fourth Annual 3D Entertainment Summit, which took place in Hollywood & Highland Center.
The filmmaker states that any flaws can be fixed with a change of perception and superior 3D authoring and presentation.
His fellow filmmakers such as Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott all have upcoming films which will be released in 3D.
He is also in pre-production of two sequels to his 3D hit Avatar(2009), which are planned for release in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Cameron also recently made a deal with Disney to have an Avatar theme park attraction at Disney World, which will have 3D technology.
Cameron also plans to re-release his mega-hit Titanic(1997) in 3D. This will arrive in cinemas in 2012, the 100th anniversary of the ship’s sinking.
