star wars, retro pixel pop

Retro is in.  8-bit pixel art is definitely in.  Next year's release of Ready Player One is going to make the retro look a must for any geek.  Why not get ahead of the rush and combine retro and Star Wars with Pixel Pop?

  • Fans excited for the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi can now have characters inspired by the film series recreated on their bedroom wall.
  • The designs are part of CTD Tiles’ new Pixel Pop range - eight fan art bundles.
  • The new range is inspired by popular comics, games, films and television programmes, including Star Wars.
  • Each bundle includes all the tiles needed, as well as easy-to-follow instructions.

A long time ago in a bedroom far, far away...

Want to celebrate the launch of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in style this weekend? Why not decorate your wall with representations of your favourite characters from the series?

CTD Tiles has just launched a new range of fan art packs allowing customers to recreate their favourite characters from film, comics, games and television - including a certain iconic green-skinned character, as well as the galaxy’s most “accurate” soldiers...

Each vibrant pack offers a blueprint of the easy-to-follow design as well as all of the tiles that you need to create your marvellous masterpiece. Tiles used within each pack are part of the Reflections by GEMINI tiles, a glazed ceramic tile to protect against staining and offer a pristine, glossy finish on your next project.

From small mystical creatures to magical animals, the eight characters available include:

       Green Galactic Genius
       Space Soldier
       Green Giant
       Magical Baby Horse
       Night Vigilante
       Red Italian Plumber
       Sir Superspeed
       Thunder Warrior

Tracy Hildreth, from the CTD website team, said: “Fan art has become increasingly popular over the years and we believe that everyone will enjoy our whimsical take on nostalgia. We wanted to create something that would delight and excite our customer base and we believe our customers will quickly fall in love with these characters.”

The Pixel Pop range will be available from http://www.ctdtiles.co.uk/c-2588-pixel-pop-range.aspxwith prices starting at £39.99.

The range launches following the release of Disney’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
