Matthew Rhys and Bob Odenkirk discussed their roles in 'The Post,' which tells the true story of the battle  between the Washington Post and the Nixon administration over the Pentagon Papers.

Matthew Rhys plays Ellsberg in the film, and he said, “I think they wanted to isolate me, or just keep me with beautiful bouncing Bob Odenkirk [as Ben Bagdikian, Ellsberg’s contact at the Post]. That level of isolation lent itself, and I think certainly helped me because I felt like the outsider.” Rhys then quipped, “Or at least Bob made me feel like the outsider.”
