88th oscars logo

Star Wars The Force Awakens will be well represented at the 88th Oscars with a number of nominations.  Film Editing, Original Score (Mark up another one for John Williams,) Sound Editing, Sound Mixing and Visual Effects will all see Star Wars in the running for an Oscar.  Meanwhile Pixar's Inside Out gets a nod for Animated Feature Film and Steven Spielberg's Bridge Of Spies will battle it out with Star Wars The Force Awakens in the Original Score category and Sound Mixing as well as getting a nomination for Original Screen Play, Best Picture and Best Supporting Actor for Mark Rylance performance.  The 88th Oscars will take place on February 28th, 2016, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California
