Today, AC Worldwide announces the launch of their official Star Wars Bluetooth speakers on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter. The speakers will come in two editions; the fussy protocol droid C-3PO and the Galactic Empire’s foot soldier, the Stormtrooper. Designed with a remarkable attention to detail and boasting high-quality sound with powerful bass all in a wireless portable package, they are the ultimate speakers for Star Wars fans and officially certified by Lucasfilm and Disney.
C-3PO and the Stormtrooper are fan favorite characters and to do them justice, the design of the speakers underwent months of work to ensure that they look and feel authentic. Every single detail from George Lucas’ original design has been incorporated into the finished product and even go that one step further by including vents and grills that were just stickers in the film production. Made using the highest-grade material, the quality of the speakers is unparalleled giving them a premium and solid build.
Star Wars speakers boast fantastic sound quality, featuring full 2.1 system audio. Incased behind C-3PO and the Stormtrooper’s eyes are two tweeters and underneath a down-facing ported subwoofer delivers ground-shaking bass. Whether you want to hook up your smartphone or tablet wirelessly through Bluetooth and crank up John William’s iconic score, or plug in your console via AUX to be fully immersed in the laser blasts of Star Wars Battlefront – C-3PO and Stormtrooper speakers provide loud, crisp and superior audio.
Bluetooth capability lets you play music through the speakers with ease. Simply pair your smartphone or tablet to the speaker via Bluetooth and your speaker will say an iconic phrase, C-3PO exclaims “I do believe they think I'm some sort of god” and the Stormtrooper will ask you to
“Move along”. You can also pair via NFC technology or using AUX. Once connected the speakers eyes will glow blue and you’re all set to play music. Touch-sensitive buttons controls each speaker, so there’s no need to press down just hold your finger over the chosen command and it reacts to touch. If you have a phone call, you can have fun by answering hands free and speak to your C-3PO or Stormtrooper with its built in mic.
AC Worldwide founding partner, Kelvyn Gardner explains, “First and foremost, all of us are huge Star Wars fans, and we are all audio enthusiasts. To combine our two passions and bring these amazing authentic Star Wars speaker to the fans is a great feeling. We know the Kickstarter community will have a lot of Star Wars enthusiasts, so we wanted them to have the first opportunity to support our campaign. Kickstarter gives us an opportunity to work with fans to raise the funds we need to get these speakers in to manufacturing.”
