The Clone Wars On Netflix UK? The Wait Goes On @NetflixUK

By now you should be aware that "Season Six" of The Clone Wars is heading to Netflix USA at the beginning of March.  In fact Germany are enjoying the series right now. Last week I tweeted to Netflix UK the ultimate question for us British Netflix subscribers who want more Clone Wars in this country.  "When are we going to get more Clone Wars over here?" Well thanks to a recently created twitter account called Clone Wars UK  we have an answer and its not good news.  Netflix UK tweeted back to them the following response: @SWCWNetflixUK We don't have any news on that just yet. As soon as we have any we'll announce it. — Netflix UK & Ireland (@NetflixUK) February 28, 2014 Well there you have it.  Not the response we were after here in the UK.  We will have to continue to wait in frustration.  Clouded the future is. Benedict Cumberbatch Reveals He's A Bad Time-Keeper. Once Kept Spielberg Waiting

Benedict Cumberbatch has revealed he is "notoriously bad" at time-keeping, very un-Sherlock of him.  He revealed he was late for a meeting with War Horse director Steven Spielberg and also admitted that being punctual is not one of his strongest points in an In Conversation discussion with The Hollywood Reporter. "There are parameters you have to work within as an actor, and sometimes they are difficult to maintain. Time-keeping is one of them and I'm notoriously bad at that," he said. "And learning your lines. I'm alright at that some of the time and sometimes it can get overwhelming. There are good days and bad days." Is Honesty the best Policy? Look To Star Wars For The Answer

Becca Benjamin has posted an intriguing blog post over on the Coffee With Kenobi website and asks the question, Is honesty the best policy?  On the surface you may say "of course!"  Becca digs deeper and turns to Star Wars to find the ultimate answer: Ah, the infamous line: “So what I told you was true, from a certain point of view.”-Obi-wan Kenobi/Ben Ever since I can remember, this dialog has intrigued me.  Even more after the Prequel Trilogy was complete. It’s fascinating how someone could alter the truth in such a way, that they actually perceived/deemed it as “acceptable.”  Not to mention, to pass it along without finding fault or accepting ownership in any wrongdoing on his part. “You’ll find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly upon your own point of view.” – Obi-wan Let me just point out, this would not be permissible in a court of law. Modifying the truth, to your liking, would be considered a LIE (tampering with evidence) during a trial.

Warwick Davis wrote to George Lucas at 13 asking for Star Wars toys

Davis played Wicket the Ewok in Lucas's in 1983 film Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. He wrote in the letter, posted on Reddit and dated May 20, 1983: "Dear Mr. Lucas, My name is Warwick. I hope you remember me, I helped you make the new Star Wars film last year. "I hear that the film is being released in this country on June 2nd and that a few of the toy shops in London have some of the new figures." After the release of Star Wars, a success beyond Lucas' expectations, Lucas was ready to continue his story. Originally, his script for Star Wars was massive, and he cut it into segments; The Empire Strikes Back was just the next phase of a story he'd already plotted. Maltin asks about the biggest overall difference between Episode IV and Episode V, noting that the latter is considered a darker picture. "It is a darker film," Lucas says, "because in the first act you introduce ever

Pinewood Film Company To Expand To Wales UK. New Studio On The Way

Pinewood Studios continues to expand and is heading to Wales, my neck of the woods.  In fact its just down the road from me.  Couple this with BBC Wales Studios creating gems such as Doctor Who and Sherlock and its clear to see that South Wales is becoming a Mecca for British made quality movies and TV. Video Explaining Star Wars New Character, EZRA

The official Star Wars Youtube channel bring us a real treat.  A short video introducing us to Ezra who was announced as one of the characters yesterday via TVGuide. In Star Wars Rebels, fans will see the rise of the Rebellion through Ezra: a 14-year-old con artist who learns to fight for a greater good. The seemingly-reluctant hero is revealed here in a video filled with character concept art, early animation, and creator interviews. Growing up on his own in the age of the Empire, Ezra has had to rely on his wit and cunning to get by. As voice actor Taylor Gray explains, "He's very street-smart, he's a pickpocket, he's a little thief. But he's doing it all because he needs to survive." Executive producer Dave Filoni adds that Ezra is not a bad kid. Although he may enjoy stealing from the Empire, his behavior has been influenced by the world around him - a world that is under Imperial control.  But his hard life has also made his world smaller. &quo
