The film stars; Richard Armitage (The Hobbit, Captain America), Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Prison Break) and Matt Walsh (Ted, Veep) amongst others and is the intense tale about a city which is ravaged in just a few hours by an unprecedented onslaught of the most furious twisters they’ve ever seen. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Most people seek shelter, while others run toward the vortex, testing how far a storm chaser will go for that once-in-a-lifetime shot.

In the span of just a few hours, the city of Silverton, Oklahoma is ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of the most furious twisters they’ve ever seen. The entire town is at the mercy of the erratic and deadly cyclones, even as storm trackers predict the worst is yet to come. Directed by Steven Quale (Final Destination 5) and starring Richard Armitage who plays single father Greg; Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Prison Break) as meteorologist Allison; Matt Walsh (Ted, The Hangover)as filmmaker and storm chaser Pete; Alycia Debnam-Carey (The Devil’s Hand, Dream Life) as high school student Kaitlin; Arlen Escarpeta (Final Destination 5, Star Trek Into Darkness) as one of the camera operators, Daryl; Max Deacon (Hatfields & McCoys, Summer in February) as Gary’s teenage son Donnie; Nathan Kress (iCarly, Chicken Little)as Gary’s other son Trey; and Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights, Excision) as Jacob, another camera operator.

Why Is There A Strange Cut In The 1982 Horror Classic, Poltergeist? If you're a fan of the 1982 Horror classic, Poltergeist then you will be very familiar with that "weird" cut in the movie. It's 32 minutes and 47 seconds in to the movie and the scene is where Diane is explaining the strange phenomenon that is happening in the kitchen. First, she shows to Steve a chair scraping across the floor all on its own then she does the same with Carol Anne.
