In an recent interview with The Times of India, Steven Spielberg talked about the sequel to Tintin and hinted and hoped for a 2015 release. He said:
"Peter Jackson is directing the next one, I’m producing. We have a script and we’re going to start performance capture probably at the end of this year. Don’t hold me to it, but we’re hoping the film will come out around Christmas-time in 2015. We know which books we’re making, we can’t share that now but we’re combining two books which were always intended to be combined by Herge."
Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson brought us the first Tintin movie in 2011. The duo had always stated that the movies will be a three movie project.

“Do more Indian film-related events in the west, for instance, a solid Indian film festival with a robust amount of publicity and marketing would perhaps help the west get access to the movies made here. Also, it’s got to do a lot more with the country being the headlines.” He added, “Awareness of Indian films and the abundant talent here is already acknowledged, but in the west, we have no access to it. That’s why I haven’t seen too many Hindi films myself.”
